モトヤの行書体は、縦組はもちろん横組適性も考慮し制作しています。中でも終筆の「かえし」は本来縦につながる筆の動きなので、行書体の雰囲気を崩さない範囲で極力「かえし」を抑え、横書きの適性が向上するように工夫しています。また、行書体の命ともいえる、流れるような運筆も一画一画にまで気を配り作り上げていますので、華麗な筆さばきが目に浮かぶほど美しい行書体に仕上がっています。

モトヤの隷書体は、横画(おうかく：横線)の打ち込みに力強さを持たせ、末端のはね口に鋭さを表現しています。また、下ハライ（ノ）の一部では、わざと下から上へ逆に書いて筆勢を強調しており、これらがゆったりと湾曲している横画と融合し、のどかな雰囲気の中にも強く鋭いイメージを併せ持った書風を生み出しています。これは、一般的に柔らかい表現の隷書体が多い中で、モトヤ隷書体の大きな特徴といえます。

モトヤの大楷は、そのしっかりとした骨格に、豊かな墨量で書き上げた楷書体です。モトヤの楷書体は、欧陽詢（おうようじゅん）の書を基にしていますが、大楷では同じく唐の三大書家のひとりである虞世南（ぐせいなん）の優しさや柔らかさをも採り入れました。モトヤ正楷書と比較すると、線質は丸みを帯び、懐は広く取っています。また、ハライやハネを少しラフなタッチの筆法で書き、重量感や強さを表現しています。

It got 36th The Best Typeface Prize by GMK (Turkish Graphic Designers Association) in 2017 Exhibition/Competition. But Milas got the award with “Olba” name. After that its name had changed because of the name similarity. And here it is: Milas.
